A ski lift of the Forstau-Fageralm Ski Area, which is part of the large Ski Amadé Winter Sport Region, is located right next to Hotel Unterreith. A ski school and ski rental are available on site. Children can have fun in the garden, in the petting zoo and take part in the 5-day children program during summer, including train rides, baking bread and many more fun activities. There is also a ski school on site. The Forsteralm bus stop is located right in front of the house and a supermarket can be found 300 metres away. The Salzburger Almenweg hiking trails passes next to the hotel and a bathing lake is 3 km away.
