Centrally situated in Ossiach and 50 metres away from the beach of Ossiachersee Lake, the Stiftsschmiede Ossiach houses its own restaurant serving freshwater fish and regional products, prepared on open fire in the former smithy. A sunbathing lawn with a terrace offer relaxation opportunities, whilst all suites come with a balcony and direct or side lake views. They are also fitted with flat-screen satellite TV, a minibar, and a private bathroom with shower and toilet. Boat rental is available at a surcharge within 30 metres from the Stiftsschmiede; cycling and hiking routes are directly next to the house. Bicycle rental is 200 metres away. Guests can visit the adjacent Stift Ossiach Monastery, 60 metres away, or visit Villach, 15 km from the Stiftsschmiede. The Gerlitzen Ski Lift is a 10-minute car drive away.
