Horta do Muro is a 12-acre farm located 3 km from the tranquil, white-washed village of Campo Maior, in Alentejo. It features an outdoor swimming pool and a breakfast buffet is served daily. Each room at Horta do Muro has a unique décor based on regional handcraft and either wooden or wrought-iron beds. Each one has a private bathroom. Guests can enjoy breakfast outdoors, in the porch, or in the dining room. Campo Maior features a variety of restaurants serving regional delicacies. Campo Maior hosts the well-known Festa das Flores, when the village streets are decorated with paper flowers. This popular event is held every 4 years. Guests can explore the surrounding landscape with a rental bicycle or in a horse riding tour, organised at an extra charge with the property. The outdoor pool area features a dining area, parasols and a day bed. The Spanish city of Badajoz is 12 km from Horta do Muro. The garrison border town of Elvas and its fortifications are 18 km away.
