The Casa dos Frutos Divinos is located in the oldest street of the village of Óbidos. This medieval property is a 2-minute walk from the Óbidos Castle and the famous city walls. The colourful rooms all feature heating and some also have a cable Tv and a view of the garden. The house has a communal lounge area with sofas, as well as a dining area. Each morning, a varied breakfast buffet is served in the Frutos Divinos, which can be enjoyed either in the dining room or in the bright sun terrace, overlooking the garden. Guests can use the property’s equipped communal kitchen to prepare their own meals. It features a microwave, refrigerator, oven, stove, toaster, electric kettle and coffee machine. Local restaurants are readily accessible through a short 2-minute walk from the property. Bike rental and electric mini-car rental are available. The Casa’s garden is ideal for a relaxing break after a day of sightseeing through the village. Guests can visit the scenic old town by cycling through the traditional cobbled streets, which have a variety of typical shops, cafés and restaurants. There are also several street establishments serving the region’s most famous beverage, Ginjinha de Óbidos, a sour cherry liquor. The Santa Maria Church, where King Afonso V was married in the 15th century, is just 100 metres away. Every year, Óbidos also hosts several events, such as the Medieval Market or the International Chocolate Festival. It is a 50-minute drive from the Lisbon International Airport and the Casa dos Frutos Divinos provides a shuttle service, at an extra cost.
