Spacious connected holiday home on ground floor with wheelchair access. Situated in a restored Portuguese stately farmhouse ( Quinta ) which is divided in 4 holiday homes. The Quinta has a communal swimming pool (7 x 4 x 1.6 m) and a large garden with various terraces and a barbecue and is situated at the feet of the Monchique mountains. All the cottages are child friendly, there is for example a work/recreation space where children can paint original tiles with the owners and on request you may use a cot and pram. This is a perfect holiday address for relaxation at only 15 minutes drive from the sea, the beach, golf courses, vineyards and all the basic facilities like shops. banks. pharmacy. etc. Places like Alvor (7 km). Portimão on the Arade river (10 km) and Praia da Rocha are nearby. You can go on beautiful walks directly from the cottage or make a car trip along the orchards and vineyards. Monte Canelas is situated in the historical Mexilhoeria Grande, a village at 5 km of the house with a number of shops and a lively market.
