A rustic stone-built house with glorious views and lush vegetation

This rustic stone-built house is located in Admeus, on the banks of Cávado River, facing the Caniçada Dam. A Cabana offers direct access from the garden to the dam, where you can bathe and swim.

The entire house is air-conditioned and is set on different levels. As you come in, the floor-to-ceiling windows offer views of the dam and surroundings, as well as a sofa where you can relax.

The wooden staircase leads to the upper floor where bedrooms are located. Here is where waking up in the morning to a glorious view, opening the window and breathing in the river breeze is possible. All bedrooms include a double bed, and some offer access to a balcony.

You can prepare a snack in the compact open-plan kitchenette and enjoy it on the outdoor sun loungers under the shade of parasols.

Allow the gentle touch of the sun while practicing water sports such as canoeing and fishing. The Peneda-Gerês National Park has a variety of hiking trails that lead to waterfalls. The beauty of Arado Waterfall is hidden amongst rocks and intense vegetation.

Gerês village is a 10-minute drive from the Cabana, and the historical Braga city is around 38 km away.

Please note that after booking, guests will receive an email from the property with instructions for payment and collection of the key.

Please note that the 50% deposit of the total amount of the stay charged on the day of booking, must be paid by bank transfer. The remaining amount should be paid in cash at check-in.

The accommodation must be left clean and tidy, kitchen appliances included. If this requirement is not met, an additional cleaning fee of EUR 30 will be charged. Please inform A Cabana in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. A security deposit of EUR 100 is required upon arrival for incidentals. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out and subject to a damage inspection of the accommodation.
