This country hotel on the edge of the Wahibah Desert offers air-conditioned accommodation and international cuisine. There is a charming courtyard with a large fountain that is surrounded by arched walkways. All simply furnished rooms and studios at Al Qabil Rest House come with carpeted floors, a desk and sofa. They are spacious and have a private bathroom. Breakfast is available in the morning on the sunny courtyard or in the restaurant. Local meats and Western-style salads are available during the afternoon and evening. Al Qabil is situated on the main road between Muscat and Sur. Guests can enjoy day trips to the Wahibah Desert or explore the surrounding villages including Ghayl and Al Yahmadi.
