Sportmans Lodge is a 5-minute walk from Turangi town centre and the shores of Lake Taupo. The lodge offers a self-catering kitchen, free on-site car parking and free Wi-Fi access. All guest rooms are fully heated and include en suite bathrooms with shower facilities. The tour desk can arrange guided fishing trips, water rafting activities and trips to the Tongariro Crossing. The lodge has a large shared lounge and a games room with open fire. Other amenities include a library, a pool table and a sundeck with barbecue facilities. Continental breakfast is available each morning. Sportmans Lodge Turangi is a 3-minute walk from the Tongariro River. It is a 35-minute drive from Taupo Airport and the Whakapapa Ski Field.
