Onuwhao Guest Lodge is a 10-minute walk from Russell, where you can take a 10-minute ferry trip to Paihia. It is 40-minute drive from Waitangi National and an 80-minute drive from Whangarei. All heated rooms have a private bathroom with free toiletries, and some have a full kitchen. Each room is uniquely decorated with handmade quilts, brass beds and fresh flowers from the garden. Guests can relax in the shared lounge featuring a library, TV and free tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast is served daily in the dining room with options including eggs, smoked salmon, pancakes, fruit and toast with homemade jam.
