Built in 1906, Station Lodge boasts stunning views of Mt Ruapehu and a hot tub, during the winter months. It offers heated accommodation, 20 minutes’ drive from Turoa Ski Field. Guests enjoy the convenience of on-site mountain bike rental. You can relax in the guest lounge, offering a cosy log fire, or create a meal in the communal kitchen. Free BBQ facilities and a wood-fired pizza oven are also available. Station Lodge Ohakune is less than a 1-minute walk from Ohakune Train Station. Whakapapa Ski Field is 40 minutes’ drive away. The Tongariro Alpine Crossing is 45 minutes’ drive, and daily transport is available from the lodge, charges apply.
