Neptunes Backpackers Greymouth is 10 minutes’ walk from the beach and 15 minutes’ drive from gold mining attraction Shantytown. There is a free shuttle from Greymouth Station and Bus Terminal. Guests enjoy a billiards table, TV with satellite channels and a library of over 500 DVDs. There is a large communal kitchen with free tea and coffee supplied. All rooms and dormitories include bed linen, towels, hot water bottles and soap. Each private room features a TV with a DVD player. There is a large shared bathroom with 5 showers and 2 baths. The tour desk books Monteith’s brewery tours, cave rafting and hiking trips. You can go fishing directly opposite Neptunes at the Greymouth Wharf or go kayaking on Lake Brunner.
