Set in secluded and quiet nature surroundings, Wæthing Søndre Hytter offers old-fashioned cottages in the Fyresdal Valley. Sandefjord Torp Airport is 200 km away. Cooking facilities are provided in the cottages. All have a fireplace and a terrace with views of the valley. The cottages are solar powered. Fishing, hiking and hunting are popular activities in the valley. Reindeer and elk can be spotted in the rich surrounding fauna. Boats and canoes can be rented at one of the cottages at Wæthing Søndre. Some of the cottages are located up to 1.5-hour hike from the parking space, while others are on site. A grocery store and the Fyresdal Rural Museum are found in central Fyresdal, 500 metres from the parking space.
