On the shores of Lake Mjøsa just 25 km from Lillehammer and its Olympic Arena, Sveastranda Camping offers cottage and apartment accommodation with free Wi-Fi. There is a supermarket open in the summer, when guests can also rent out boats, canoes and bicycles. Each bright and modern cottage at Sveastranda Camping comes with a TV, a kitchen and a private bathroom. Guests have access to laundry facilities, while some cottages even feature a dishwasher. The site has a waterfront and beach area, and guests are free to fish in the lake or river. There are many hiking trails in the area, while there is also Totenbadet Waterpark just 20 km away. In the summer on Lake Mjøsa guests can enjoy the scenery by taking a trip on the Skibladner paddle steamer, in operation since the mid-1800s. The nearest supermarket is located in Moelv a 10-minute drive away, where there is also a train station providing connections with Gardermoen Airport and Oslo.
