Set right in the heart of Terneuzen, Authentiek vakantiehuisje invites you to experience the traditional Dutch lifestyle. In an area renowned for its fresh seafood, this vacation home is the perfect stop for your relaxing getaway.

As you enter the house, you will find yourself in the bright, open-plan living room with off-white walls and purple colour accents. You can put your feet up and watch the flat-screen TV from the comfy sofa, which converts into a practical bed in case you want to bring some friends. Set in a traditional Dutch house with colourful shutters, the house's quaint and cottage-style décor gives it that cozy, homely feel.

Unleash your inner chef in the kitchenette, which is equipped with a microwave, a stovetop and a refrigerator, and enjoy your homemade meal in the vintage-style dining corner. The ground level will also provide you with functional shower facilities. A retractable attic ladder will lead you to your private double bedroom under the roof.  

To make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay, the vacation house has been fitted with useful amenities including free WiFi, cable channels, a DVD player, towels and facilities to prepare tea and coffee.

If you don’t feel like cooking, you can always visit the neighbouring tapas bar or Indian restaurant. A wide range of bistros, cafés and typical Dutch eateries is never far away. You can go on a shopping spree or – if you prefer to take it easy – sit down with a drink and gaze out upon the sea. History buffs may want to check out the historic town of Middelburg, a 25-minute drive away. Antwerp in Belgium offers a lot of opportunities for a cultural trip as well.
