This authentic holiday home is centrally located on the former island of Marken. It is a national monument with still many authentic features, plus all the comforts of modern times. The spacious garden is located at the front of the House. The living room has TV, radio and CD player, kitchen is equipped in a oven, combi microwave and dishwasher, there are two bedrooms, bathroom has a shower with a toilet. The House is within walking distance of the port with restaurants and bars. Marken is a farmer island, famous for its wooden houses, built on mounds or piles. Of course Marken also known by the colourful traditional dress, which is worn by some older people still. The famous white lighthouse ' with ' the horse van Marken is a lovely walk or bike ride away. In about twenty minutes by car in Amsterdam and Volendam and over half an hour by bus at Amsterdam Central.

- Please note that bed linen and bath towels are not included in the room rate. Guests can rent them at the property or bring their own.
- Kitchen linen is included in a rental price.
- Bed linen is available for an additional cost of 7.50 EUR p.p./change.
- Bath towels are available for an additional cost of 5 EUR p.p./change.
- Electricity, water, gas and oil fees are included in the rental price.
