The park is situated in the Bommerlerwaard on a peninsula between the Maas and the Esmeer recreation lake. The De Neswaarden recreation area is located directly next to the park, free access for everyone. There is a separate swimming area for the kids, lawns for sunbathing, a playground and a large swimming lake. The park itself has a brasserie, a snack bar and various sports and play areas. A nice spot for water sports enthusiasts. There are various quiet beaches around. This historic fortified town of Heusden aan de Maas and Den Bosch are worth a visit. The Efteling and Beekse Bergen are within easy reach for the necessary adventure. Recreation park Het Esmeer, a water-rich park, is suited for seekers of peace and quiet and nature lovers.
