This beautiful castle was built in 1596. It is between the villages of Born and Limbricht in the province of Limburg. You will enjoy complete tranquillity here. The holiday accommodation is in the castle. It has a terrace at the front and a small private garden at the side. The castle is surrounded by an estate which includes the ruins of the moat, various out buildings and a large meadow. The castle's former owner resides in one of the buildings. A lot of the castle's original features have been preserved. These include sixty-three arrow slits which provide plenty of natural light. The original high ceilings are still there as is the 400 year old tower with its spiral staircase. The castle is in a nature reserve and is not appropriate for groups desiring party entertainment.
