In Haren in Groningen you will find the oldest cultural landscape in Europe, the Reitdiep valley. This cosily furnished farm accommodation is located in the middle of this region, among the expansive meadows. This was formerly a small hamlet with its own church and churchyard. The farmhouse was renovated with the charm of 1900 with the materials from the old farm and old fashioned bedsteads. Your holiday home is located in the farm vestibule. The barn of the farm is a small exposition space which is sometimes used by the Groningen District for small activities. The vestibule and the barn both have their own entrance. An ideal holiday home for nature-, quiet- and space lovers. You can hike and cycle at your leisure in this region. The charming city centre of Groningen is only 8km away. Visit the Martini Towers or the Groningen Museum. The city offers an expansive offering of good restaurants, terraces and nightlife.
