The holiday home is located in the woods between Hengelo and Zelhem and a beautiful walk starts just in front of the door.The area is known for the typical Achterhoek coulisse landscape. Forest. meadows. corn and wheat fields. farms and little villages. The Achterhoek is also known for the many castles. country houses and gardens. of which many are accessible to the public. The old Hanseatic city of Zutphen (20 km) has a historic centre with stately merchants houses. churches. cloisters and fortifications and is really worth a visit.
