Treehouse de Uil (the Owl) is the first Hotelpod of Leeuwarden. Just 400 meters from the tree house is the Fries Museum and the shopping center is a 5 minute walk. The hotelpod is an independent lodge, similar to a hotel room. The hotelpod is well isolated and has a covered porch. There is a twin bed, electric heating, shower, sink, toilet and a pantry. The more than 6 meters long tree house is also provided with a television with three channels; Nederland 1,2 and 3. There is a parking space available next to the tree house. Breakfast can be used in Grand Hotel Post-Plaza which is only 300 meters from the tree house. Breakfast can also be delivered to the tree house in a picnic basket. Grand hotel Post-Plaza has a 24-hour reception. The key for the tree house needs to be picked-up at the reception desk. Grand Hotel Post-Plaza is located on the Tweebaksmarkt 27 in Leeuwarden.
