Nieuw Allardsoog is an estate of 14 hectares, just the 3-point province of Friesland, Groningen and Drenthe. It is beautifully situated in the middle of protected heath and nature with various walking and cycling routes and close to the attractive tourist place and Bakkeveen. The estate was formerly the first folk high school located in the Netherlands and one of the buildings can still be found as a miniature in Madurodam. Around the heath and the main building (1st picture) with reception, restaurant and terrace are three detached holiday lodges. The "bungalows" are surprisingly comfortable, colorful and modern furnishings. The double rooms have their own bathroom and TV. Beaver Lodge is situated on the edge with a view of a romantic heath. Staying at Nieuw Allardsoog stands for relaxation and plenty of privacy with the option of a fine meal from the estate kitchen.
