Situated right on the beach, this all-inclusive hotel offers a casino, a large outdoor pool and hot tub. Each air-conditioned room has a furnished balcony with views of the tropical gardens or ocean. The Barceló Montelimar Beach offers tennis courts, a minigolf course and a gym. Daily activities include dance and aerobics classes and water sports. Buffet meals are served in the Océano restaurant, while La Casona offers à la carte cuisine. There is a poolside snackbar and a disco bar. House beverages are included from 10:00 until 02:00. The Montelimar’s spacious, elegant rooms are located in the main hotel building or in cabins. All include cable TV, a safe and a minibar with free house drinks. The complex is situated in Montelimar, on the Pacific coast of Nicaragua. The Río Escalante Nature Reserve is a 45-minute drive away.
