Run by a Tibetan family, Norling Guest House boasts panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley and Himalayan mountains from its rooftop garden. Tastefully decorated in a Tibetan style, the guesthouse offers a spa, a library and free Wi-Fi. All guestrooms are fitted with a private balcony, a satellite TV and a bottled drinking water. Some rooms include air conditioning. En suite bathrooms have either a shower or a bathtub. Norling Guest House is centrally located in Thamel, about 8 km from Tribhuvan International Airport. On-site parking is free. Tour guides and trekking guides can also be arranged at the guesthouse. While trekking, guests can store luggage at the 24-hour front desk. Car rentals and newspapers are also provided. The on-site restaurant serves Tibetan, Chinese, Nepalese and Continental dishes. A daily breakfast is also available there.
