Set in a carefully renovated former grain mill, this hotel is quietly located in the village of Trostadt. It offers a rustic-style restaurant serving regional cuisine and spacious rooms with scenic countryside views. Behind the timber-framed exterior, Landhotel Klostermühle feature bright rooms with solid wooden furniture. Each is complete with a satellite TV and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. Homemade cakes, desserts and ice creams can all be enjoyed in the Klosterklause restaurant. Guests can look forward to full buffet breakfasts and hearty meals from Klosterklause’s wood-burning stove. A 13-minute drive takes you to the historic town of Hildburghausen, where Germany’s oldest theatre is waiting to be explored. Leisure activities in the area include hiking, cycling and fishing.
