A historic transformer building used in the 1920s to supply energy to Solingen, Hotel Trafohaus has been converted to a one-room hotel. Guests are welcome to relax in the Arabian-style bathroom or on the peaceful garden terrace. The hotel is 100 metres from the German Blade Museum and 3 km from the centre of Solingen. Hotel Trafohaus offers free parking and is next to the A46 motorway. It is a 25-minute drive from central Düsseldorf and 35 minutes from central Cologne.
