This family-run hotel is a former farmhouse on the North Sea island of Föhr, between Alkersum and Nieblum. Hoftel-Föhr Hotel Garni is just 10 minutes from Nieblum Beach by bicycle. Rooms at the Hoftel-Föhr are bright and spacious and harmoniously decorated in a plain Nordic style. All have a private bathroom and views of greenery, and family rooms also offer sofa beds and cabin bunks. All rooms on the ground floor have a terrace. All rooms have space for a cot or travel cot and are ideal for new families and young parents. Baby-changing cushions, nappy buckets, a baby bathtub, babyphone and highchairs are also available. All children up to the age of 6 can stay free of charge, whether in a cot, travel cot or their parents' bed. The large Tenne, a converted barn, is the centrepiece of the hotel. It features a terrace and a children’s play corner. Here you can enjoy afternoon treats and a healthy breakfast buffet with many organic products. There is a fully equipped kitchen just for guests on site, as well as a washing machine and clothes dryer. Other facilities include Ayurvedic massages for pregnant women or baby massage courses. Free parking is available and there is a bus stop just 50 metres away. The surrounding area is ideal for hiking, cycling, inline skating and geocaching.
