Ferienwohnung Dodenau is located in the spot of plenty of opportunities. You can make day trips to places like the Diemelsee, the Twistesee and the Edersee (the largest reservoir in Germany). The Kellerwald national park is also worth a visit. One can go for splendid walks in this rolling landscape. This region is also historically and culturally very interesting with towns such as Bad Arolsen, Frankenberg, Waldeck and Bad Wildungen. In the winter one can you ski and cross-country ski in Winterberg and its surroundings (approx. 30 km).
