Jugendherberge Burghausen’s large recreational area is ideal for activities such as volleyball, football and table tennis. Guests can enjoy the small lake and creek or use a hammock or slackline rope. Burghausen’s historic Old Town is 2 km from the hostel and the Austrian border is 100 metres away.

International guests without membership pay a surcharge of 3,10 Euro per night for the first 6 nights to obtain a full membership for the use of more than 4.500 Youth Hostels worldwide. German residents aged 26 or younger can become a member of the German Youth Hostel Association for 12,50 Euro per year, older guests and families pay 21,00 Euro per year upon arrival.
