The spa town of Bernau is located in the beautiful high valley of the South Black Forest national park. The sunny. south facing open 8 km long valley is a secret tip among nature and walking enthusiasts. and runs at a height of between 900 and 1.415m. Enjoy the lovingly furnished and light holiday residence with wonderful view of the mountains and meadows of the high Bernau valley. The house has a large garden with playground and sunbathing area. garden furniture and a grill. Walks and hikes start right at the house. The Nordic centre is located only 1.5 km from the house and the ski lifts and shops are only 2 km away. In the summer. the Schluchsee is an inviting place to swim and hike. and in the witner. the well known Feldberg is within easy reach. Cities such as Basel. Freiburg. Colmar and Strasbourg are within striking distance within 1-1.5 hours in the car. TheSchaffhauser waterfalls are also a popular destination. Revitalizing spa in the neighboring village. The homeowner offer guided mountain bike tours. The KONUS Guest Card is included in the tourist tax. which offers free use of the busses and trains throughout the Black Forest.
