The eco-friendly Akal Ki is located on the edge of the Bacalar Lagoon in the south of Quintana Roo. It offers magical suites with wonderful views of either the lagoon or the mangrove. The spacious suites at Akal Ki are made from wood and feature tropical décor. Each offers wonderful privacy and peace, and has a private bathroom. Some have hardwood floors and local art. There is a spa offering a range of massages and mud therapy. Akal Ki offers various activities, including yoga and meditation. Guests can go kayaking on the lagoon, hiking in the jungle, or explore the area on bike. The Jam Bulam restaurant offers creative meals using natural ingredients from the hotel’s own gardens.
