There are open-air swimming pools in Ulflingen, Klerf and Wintger, all less than 10 minutes from Sassel. There are large shopping centres nearby with many restaurants where you can combine good shopping with fine food. To discover Luxembourgs culture, visit Luxembourg City and Vianden with its fine castle. Asselborns windmills and Kerf Castles exhibitions are just 2 km further.
