Surrounded by dense indigenous forest, Anchorage B&B is situated on the banks of the Touwsrivier River in the Wilderness Nature Reserve. Guests are able to fish in the river directly from the pool deck. Individually decorated, each room offers river, mountain and pool views. It comes equipped with a flat-screen TV and tea-and-coffee-making facilities. The private bathroom includes a shower. A daily breakfast is served at Anchorage and a traditional South African barbecue can be arranged on request. A number of restaurants serving a range of cuisines can be found within 2 km. There is a courtesy bar in the lounge, which features large glass sliding doors leading to a covered patio. The game room includes a pool table. Free Wi-Fi and private parking is available. The property is a 4-minute drive from the village of Wilderness and 25 km from the George Airport.
