Located in the quiet countryside just 15-minutes’ drive from Stellenbosch, Acara offers self-catering cottages with views of the Helderberg mountains. The landscaped garden features a heated outdoor pool and natural streams. The modern cottages are decorated in a country style, with features such as wooden verandas, exposed beamed ceilings and open fireplaces. They have private bathrooms with floor heating. Free Wi-Fi is provided. Each cottage has a kitchenette or kitchen with an oven, refrigerator and microwave to prepare meals. Barbecue facilities are available for a traditional braai and a breakfast hamper can be requested. The beach is just 10 minutes away by car, or guests can enjoy a round of golf at the Zalze Golf Estate, just 9 km away. Free private parking is provided and Cape Town International Airport is only 27 km away. Somerset West is a 5-minute drive from Acara Guest Cottages.

From N2 Highway
- Take exit 43 off the N2 (Somerset West);
- Follow the R44 (towards Stellenbosch) for 5.8km;
- Turn left onto Winery Road (also signposted Firgrove);
- Acara is on the left hand side, exactly 1.2 km down Winery Road;
When coming along the N2 from the East, continue until you see junction 43 - it is signposted.
