Featuring a furnished, covered patio and braai barbecue in the back garden, Bid Huisie is a spacious 2-bedroom house. It is set in Port Albert, a small village at the foot of the Swartberg Mountain Pass. Each bedroom in this self-catering house has a double bed, and there is a bathroom with shower. These are all accessed from the lounge with sofa, armchairs and TV. Next to this is the open-plan kitchen with microwave, fridge and stove. A dining table and chairs are also provided. There is a grocery store within the village. The Swartberg Mountains offer opportunities for hiking, mountain biking and birdwatching. The Groot Swartberg Nature Reserve is around 30 minutes’ drive and Meiringspoort is around 1 hour 15 minutes by car. With private parking on site, Bid Huisie Self-Catering House is around a 2-hour drive from the Karoo National Park.
