Anchored in the Knysna Lagoon is a self-contained cottage on the water called Houseboat Myrtle. It features spectacular views of Knysna Heads, the quays and of the lagoon. Knysna Waterfront is a 2-minute boat ride away. The houseboat features a main sun deck and the bedroom has a private deck. There is a kitchen nook with a stove and fridge and the bathroom has a hot shower. A short boat trip takes guests to the Knysna Watefront where they will find a number of restaurants serving a range of local and international cuisines. Barbecue facilities are also available aboard Myrtle. The houseboat is ideally located for fishing and swimming in the lagoon. Knysna is situated 70 km from the George Airport and a 30-minute drive from Plettenberg Bay.
