Featuring a balcony overlooking the Observatory area of Cape Town, Bohemian Lofts Backpackers Hostel has a 24-hour front desk. It offers an internet point, free Wi-Fi and a satellite TV. Named after Cape Town suburbs, the rooms and dormitories are individually decorated in an artistic style. Each provides access to a private or shared bathroom, and some have wooden bunk beds and a fireplace. A former museum of contemporary art, Bohemian Lofts Backpackers has a laundry. Staff can arrange tours and bike and car rental. The Rhodes Memorial on the University of Cape Town campus at the foot of Table Mountain is a 9-minute drive away. Central Cape Town and the V&A Waterfront are less than 7 km from the hostel. A shuttle is available to and from Cape Town International Airport, 15 km away.
