The entrance road to the reserve is halfway the R40 from Hoedspruit towards Phalaborwa,
-Take R40 from Hoedspruit towards Phalaborwa, after approx 35km you will cross the turning to Tzaneen on your left (R526/R71). From that intersection approx 700 metres you will see the sign "Balule Parsons Gate".
- You will find the sand/rock road entrance to Parsons Nature reserve on your right.
- This dirt road will take you after 5 kilometres to the security gate of Parsons Nature Reserve.
- After this gate you will have to travel another 7 kilometres to Kurhula Lodge (at the gate they will give you a map to the lodge.
- Please note that it is plot number 25.
Důležité informace
Please note that there is a gate entry fee per vehicle and conservation fees that are applicable and needs to be paid in cash at the entrance gate, as per the Nature Reserve regulations.
Guests are advised to use a 4x2 or 4x4 vehicle as the road to Kurhula Wildlife Lodge consists of sand, loose rocks and gravel.
