Drakensberg House is nestled in between the Drakensberg Park, a UNESCO world heritage site, and Cathkin Peak. It is a self-catering stone cottage equipped with an outdoor terrace and garden with mountain views. The luxurious country-style cottage is decorated in wooden furnishings and stone walls. It features floor-to-ceiling windows and a fully equipped kitchenette with a separate dining area. It has a seating area with a sofa, fireplace, a TV, and a modern private bathroom. Guests can relax in total tranquility in the garden of Drakensberg House, surrounded by trees, local flora and the beautiful mountain ranges of Cathkin Peak and Champagne Castle. There are outdoor seating areas scattered around the property and braai/BBQ facilities. Local activities include hot air ballooning, hiking, and horse riding. Drakensberg House is within the Bergview Estate (20 metres away) and the estate’s pool and facilities are available for guests use.

• Take exit 179 towards Giants Castle/Estcourt North;

• Turn right towards Berghaven and the Drankensberg Sun;
• Continue for 2.7 km and then take the first left;
• Continue for 1.8 km and we are on the left-hand side.
