Set on the slope of Naval Hill, Franklin View Guesthouse offers panoramic views over Waverley suburb. Overlooking the landscape are a splash pool, lounge area with fireplace, and breakfast room with wooden ceiling and chandeliers. Each modern, air-conditioned room features a 32” flat-screen satellite TV, fridge and private bathroom with free toiletries. Some have exposed brick walls and a free-standing bath, and most have a balcony with Waverley views. Breakfast is served daily and there are braai barbecue facilities in the garden. Within a 15-minute drive there are several central Bloemfontein restaurants. Set over 3 levels, Franklin View provides free Wi-Fi throughout. Less than 5 km away are the Free State Stadium and Loch Logan Waterfront Centre, the largest shopping centre in central Africa. Bloemfontein Train Station is a 10-minute drive from Guesthouse Franklin View and Bloemfontein International Airport is 15 minutes by car. There is free parking on site.

From the N1:
- From both the north and southbound direction take the R700 Kenneth Kaunda exit to Bloemfontein.
- If travelling from Cape Town, turn right at the top of the slip road. If travelling from Johannesburg, turn left.
- Continue down Kenneth Kaunda (60 km/h zone) for about 6 km until you reach a roundabout.
- Go straight over onto Wilcocks Road until you reach the first traffic lights.
- This is Waverley Road and Bays Village shopping centre is on the right.
- Turn left into Waverley Road.
- Take the 4th right into Innes Avenue.
- Turn left when you reach 9B Innes Avenue, passing the garage at 9A on your left.
- Follow the driveway to the top of the hill, where Franklin View Guesthouse is located.
From Central Bloemfontein:
- Take President Brand Street and travel north to Zastron Street.
- Go straight over the traffic lights into Kloof Street.
- Kloof Street joins Aliwal Street, then becomes Milner Road.
- When you come to a set of traffic lights with Bays Village shopping centre on the left, turn right into Waverley Road.
- From here follow the final directions in the N1 section above.
Please drive cautiously and obey the traffic lights when driving up or down the hill to/from the guest house. There is a 30-second interval between the red and green lights.
