A 5-minute drive from Kuju Shinrin Koen Ski Resort, Ryokan Furusato boasts 5 natural hot spring baths for private use, massage treatments and Japanese-style accomodation. It serves Japanese cuisine, and canned drinks are offered in vending machines. Free parking is available. Comfortable rooms have a tatami (woven mat) floor, a low table with seating cushions and an LCD TV. Traditional futon bedding is spread on the floor for sleeping. Rooms are fitted with a washstand and an en suite toilet, and bathing facilities are provided at the hot springs. A Japanese breakfast and a traditional multi-course dinner with local specialities are served at the dining room. Furusato Ryokan is a 15-minute drive from Kyusui Valley, and a 30-minute drive from the Kuju Flower Park. JR Bungo Nakamura Station is a 50-minute bus ride away. Cars need tire chains in winter.
