Located right in front of Iwappara Ski Resort, Hill Side Inn Garden Cress offers simple rooms with free Wi-Fi. Guests can refresh in the hot-spring bath and rent ski equipment on site. A free shuttle is available from JR Echigo Yuzawa Train Station, which is a 20-minute drive away and must be reserved at time of booking. The air-conditioned rooms feature carpeted floors, a flat-screen TV and a fridge. Slippers and toothbrush set are provided and Japanese Yukata robes can be rented for an extra cost. The en suite bathroom comes with a bathtub. Guests can enjoy a game of table tennis or sing their favourite tunes at the karaoke rooms. Laptops can be borrowed at the front desk and the tennis court is open during the warm weather. Local souvenirs can be purchased at the gift shop. Guests can choose between Japanese or Western set menus for breakfast. Meals are served at the dining room. Garden Cress Hill Side Inn is a 20-minute drive from Gala Yuzawa Ski Resort and the Sanroku Station on the Yuzawa Kogen Ropeway.

Due to renovations of facilities, the hotel will be under construction from 7 May until early July 2015.
