About 500 metres from the Happo-One Ski Resort gondola lift station, Hotel Taigakukan features hot-spring baths, a restaurant and bicycle rental. Both Western and Japanese-style rooms are offered, some with a private bathroom. You can sleep in traditional Japanese futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor, or book a room with Western-style beds. All rooms include an en suite toilet and a TV. The hotel is a 5-minute drive from JR Hakuba Train Station, and Hakuba Ski Jump Stadium is a 15-minute walk away. On-site parking is free. Ski equipment can be rented and stored, and the hotel sells ski passes. A coin launderette is on site. Western and Japanese dishes are served at the restaurant, and guests can relax with a cocktail at Stammtisch Bar.
