A 5-minute walk to Nozawa Onsen Ski Resort and the Nozawa Onsen morning market, Daimaruya features a natural hot-spring bath and free parking. The traditionally styled rooms are air-conditioned and include a TV and green tea. Akiha-no-Yu hot spring is a 10-minute walk from the ryokan. Shoji paper screens and a Japanese-style seating area await guests at Daimaruya Ryokan. Guests sleep in Japanese futon bedding atop a tatami (woven-straw) floor and bathe at the shared hot-spring bath. Toilets are also shared among guests. A coin launderette is available for use, and you can leave luggage at the front desk. Breakfast in a Japanese style is served at the dining area for an extra fee.

DIRECTIONS TO THE NOZAWA ONSEN AREA: From JR Nagano Train Station, take the Iiyama line to Togari-Nozawa-Onsen Station (a 2-hour train ride). Transfer to the bus for Yunohana and get off at the last stop (a 1.5-hour bus ride).
Guests with a tattoo may not be permitted to enter public bathing areas and other public facilities.
