Hot-spring baths and cosy Japanese and Western rooms are featured at Jonenbo, wrapped in the wilds of Nagano a 10-minute drive from JR Hotaka Train Station. It offers free Wi-Fi throughout as well as free on-site parking. All rooms at Jonenbo Inn are air-conditioned and include a TV, a mini-fridge and a seating area. Western-style rooms have a private toilet, while Japanese rooms have shared toilets. Guests in Japanese-style rooms sleep in futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor, and all guests bathe at the shared hot-spring baths. A set-menu breakfast and dinner are available for an extra fee, and must be ordered at time of booking. As there are few restaurants in the area, dining at the inn is recommended. Tachikawa Kurobe Alpen Route is a 50-minute drive away, and the inn is about a 2-hour drive from Norikura Kogen Ski Resort.
