A 10-minute walk from Nijo Castle and 550 metres from Marutamachi Subway Station’s exit 7, Guest House Rakuen provides dormitory-style accommodation with a free-use kitchen and a small Japanese garden with a koi pond. Women can sleep in a Western-style bed, and both men and women can experience Japanese-style bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor. The property’s 2 Western-style toilets are shared. Towels can be rented, and the newly renovated shower/bath can be used by guests. Kitchen facilities include a microwave, 1 electric hot plate, an electric kettle and a fridge. Free coffee/tea is provided, and a free-use internet PC is available at the common area. The washing machine can be used at an additional charge.
