The picturesque Pension Konomi offers cosy rooms with bathroom facilities and free Wi-Fi, a terrace and a dining room with a fireplace. The hotel is completely non-smoking, and serves Western meals featuring Swiss-style cheese fondue and a selection of wines. Konomi Pension is within a 15-minute drive from Aso Farm Land, Sugawara Jinja Shrine and JR Akamizu Station. It’s around a 30-minute drive from Aso Ropeway Station and Aso Jinja Shrine. Air-conditioned rooms feature colourful curtains and bedding, wooden furniture and a TV. They are fitted with a fridge, and have an attached shower and toilet. Toiletries are provided. Guests at Pension Konomi can play games in the games room, use an internet PC free of charge, or unwind on the terrace. They can reserve one of the bathrooms with a family-sized bathtub, for private relaxation. Free parking is available. A Western breakfast and dinner are served at the dining room. Konomi specializes in Swiss-style cheese fondue, and recommends a wine from their selection to go with a meal. The Pension also has a barbecue area.
