Minshuku Kawakami offers simple Japanese-style accommodations with free wired internet access. Guests can wear the provided Japanese Yukata robes and relax in the shared bath. Miyanoura Port is a 15-minute walk away. The rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. Each has air conditioning/heating facilities, a TV and a seating area with low tables. Bathrooms and toilets are shared. A Japanese set-menu is served for breakfast and dinner. All meals are served at the dining room, which has a free-use computer with internet access. A shared fridge is available for guests to store their own food and drinks. Kawakami Minshuku is a 25-minute drive from Shiratani Cloud Water Valley and a 20-minute drive from Yakushima Airport.
