Constructed from locally famous Ate wood, Umeya offers simple Japanese-style accommodation with Yukata robes, shared hot baths, a buffet breakfast and a set-menu dinner. Across the street from the Genkai-nada Sea, it offers free fishing boat excursions. Decorated in a traditional Japanese style, rooms feature futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor. Bathrooms and toilets are shared. Each room is air-conditioned and includes sliding paper screens, a low table with floor cushions and a TV. The property is a 30-minute bus ride from JR Wakura-Onsen Train Station via the Notojima Kotsu Bus, and guests should get off at Enome bus stop. Notojima Aquarium is 12 km away, and on-site parking is free. Guests who want to go fishing must be sure to bring rain boots and a raincoat. Luggage can be stored at the reception. Meals are Japanese-style and are served at the dining area.
