The air-conditioned rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. A heated Kotatsu table is provided in the winter season and guests can watch TV in Japanese Yukata robes. Green tea can be made by using the electric kettle, and bathrooms and toilets are shared. Traditional multi-course meals are served for dinner and a Japanese set-menu for breakfast. Guests who wish to have meal must make a reservation at time of booking. Luggage storage is available at the front desk. Ryokan Niigataya is a 5-minute drive from Kusatsu International Ski Resort and a 10-minute walk from Nishinogahara Park. JR Naganohara Kusatsuguchi Train Station is a 25-minute drive away.
