Sitting in the peaceful countryside of Gifu, Minshuku Shimizu is housed in a traditional thatched-roof farmhouse that is over 200 years old. Providing free Wi-Fi, it has Japanese-style rooms with futon mattresses. The basic rooms come with a TV and closet. A fan is provided during the warmer months of summer, while the heater is turned on during winter. Guests share access to a bathroom and toilet outside of the room. Minshuku Shimizu is a 7-minute drive from Shirakawa-go Bus Station and Jin Homura Art Museum. Myozen-ji Temple Kuri Kyodokan and Shirakawa Hachiman Shrine are within a 5-minute walk away. Upon request, the owner is happy to prepare special Japanese meals for breakfast and dinner.
